How are digital and embodied realms of existence related, linked, and overlapping? Where do they diverge, fracture, and create new realities or fantasies? (Is reality even definable in the first place?! *screams into void*) What does it mean to keep an open mind or heart? What do we pay for fame or for privacy?
and i've been that way pretty much my whole life
When I was a child, my dad built me a stage in the basement of our house. He used plywood and PVC pipe and spray-painted it black and hung up a navy blue shower curtain with gold stars. I wrote, directed, and performed in countless plays and magic shows throughout my childhood in the suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri—the literal middle of America.
I have a BFA in Studio Art from Oklahoma State University, where I focused in printmaking and social practice art. Since graduating in 2019, I have worked in program and event planning for an arts nonprofit organization, account management for a digital B2B marketing agency, and social media marketing for public health.
